Peach Cobbler2 | qt. | bottled/canned peaches — (with syrup) | 1/2 | c. | sugar | 1/2 | tsp. | salt | 1 | Tbsp. | vanilla | 2 | tsp. | cinnamon | 1 | Tbsp. | lemon juice | 1/4 | c. | cornstarch | 2 | Tbsp. | margarine | | | ___________ | | | --Dumplings-- | 2 | c. | Bisquick | 2/3 | c. | milk |
1. | Combine the first eight ingredients and stir over heat until thick. | 2. | To make the dumplings mix the Bisquick and milk together and drop on top of thickened peaches with a tablespoon. | 3. | Bake at 400 for 20 - 25 minutes. | 4. | Serve with cream or ice cream. | (from Meredith & Christina Ashton) |
