Faith in something greater than ourselves enables us to do what we have said we'll do, to press forward when we are tired or hurt or afraid, to keep going when the challenge seems overwhelming and the course is entirely uncertain.

Synopsis: Elizabeth Bennet doesn't have the best luck in love.

Reaction: Not the greatest adaptation, but this one does a passable job at interpreting Austen's comedy of manners for modern day.

Personal Rating: 7/10

Random Trivia For This Title:

  • In one scene which is set in Las Vegas, two police cars pull up. The very large markings on the cars indicate that they belong to the Provo, Utah, police department.
  • My former roommate - Corbin Frost - worked on the movie as prop master and can be seen sitting in a pew in the church scene. He is the guy with the dark hair and big head.
  • The DVD defaults to the version of the movie where most of the overt LDS references are removed or changed for a wider audience. To watch the LDS version, go to the second scene select menu and press down three times from "Main Menu". That highlights a CTR ring on Kitty's finger. Press enter and you're off.
